ONE Sound Studio Received Dolby Atmos Certification
ONE Sound Studio, located at No. 118 Qingnian Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, has reopened their Studio 1 recording and mixing room, which covers an area of approximately 40 square meters. The acoustic design and renovation of the mixing room were done by the team led by Guo Ming (郭明), and system design and integration were carried out by Digital Media Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd (北京传新科技有限公司). This upgraded 7.1.4 mixing room passed the Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio Certification in 2023 and is capable of meeting the needs of movie pre-mixing. The upgraded mixing room will provide customers, producers, and musicians with immersive audio mixing and more creative post-production experiences. The upgraded Studio 1 now features the GENELEC SAM series speakers, with 3 GENELEC SAM series 1032C speakers used for the front left, center, and right channels, 4 GENELEC SAM series 8340A speakers used for the side surround channels, and another 4 GENELEC SAM series 8340A speakers used for the top surround channels. For subwoofers, the GENELEC SAM series 7380A was chosen.
The recording studio is equipped with a mixing platform that includes Avid Pro Tools, IO Avid Mtrx Studio, and a Dolby Atmos rendering computer. The controller is the Avid S1 + Avid Dock Pro Tools. In addition, high-quality vocals can be recorded during mixing using CHANDLER TG2 preamplifiers, as well as Neumann U87, Neumann M149, Neumann 184, and Sennheiser 416 microphones.
